Ask ChatGPT what's on. Get the dates the school actually sent.

Connect Off it goes to ChatGPT or Claude and ask about your family's week from the chat you already use. It reads only what Off it goes has matched to the words in the school's own email, and it can't change anything.

What it can tell you

  • What's on, day by day, with who each thing is for: events, deadlines, payments and things to bring.
  • What's still waiting on your answer, with a link to answer it in Off it goes.
  • What a notice said, with the lines of the email each item was read from.
  • Whether a date, time or amount it's about to tell you is right. It can check each one with Off it goes first, and if it has one wrong, Off it goes gives it the right one.

Things to ask

  • "What's on for the kids this week?"
  • "What do I need to pay, and by when?"
  • "Is anything from school still waiting on my answer?"
  • "What did the swimming carnival notice say about times?"

What it can't do

  • Change your calendar, or answer a question for you. You answer in Off it goes, where the dates are checked.
  • Read your inbox. You forward school emails to your family's Off it goes address, as you do now.
  • See anyone else's household. It sees only what you can see.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Off it goes is waiting to be listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory. Until then, open chatgpt.com/plugins, choose +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Off it goes, enter https://app.offitgoes.com/mcp as the Server URL and choose OAuth for Authentication. ChatGPT warns about any server it hasn't listed yet: choose I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
  3. Open the plugin and install it. ChatGPT sends you to Off it goes: sign in with your usual email code or passkey, read what ChatGPT will be able to see, and choose Allow.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, choose +, then Add custom connector. Name it Off it goes and enter https://app.offitgoes.com/mcp.
  2. Choose Connect. Claude sends you to Off it goes: sign in with your usual email code or passkey, read what Claude will be able to see, and choose Allow.
  3. In a chat, press +, then Connectors, and turn Off it goes on.

Your privacy

Connecting is your choice, and nothing is shared until you choose Allow. ChatGPT or Claude never gets your sign-in. What it reads, and what you say to it, is then handled by OpenAI or Anthropic under their own terms. You can disconnect any time in Off it goes, under Household, then Connected assistants, and access ends straight away. The household privacy notice says more.
